Silesia was a treasure trove of factories producing porcelain such as: Ohme Szczawienko, Tulowice Schlegelmilch, CT Altwasser, Parowa Tiefenfurt, Sorau Zary...

 

KPM - in Walbrzych (Ger. Waldenburg) is the oldest porcelain factory in Silesia - Krister Porzellan Manufaktur.

 

CT Walbrzych - in 1845. Carl Tielsch founded a porcelain factory in the Old Spring - Altwasser (now a district of Wałbrzych). At many exhibitions Carl Tielsch products have received numerous awards and prizes. Its nineteenth-century luxury products were compared with the products of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin. Parowa (Ger. Tiefenfurt) initially in its factories produced faience. However, its characteristic products like China Blau, Rot China and Japan Rebellion won the hearts of many customers and found lovers until present times.

 

Sorau Zary - manufactory stood out by producing original forms of porcelain, hand-executed gilding and wealth of patterns. Today examples of this high-end utility porcelain are sought-after by collectors. Ohme Szczawienko - factory founded in 1882 by a merchant Hermann Ohme. Due to the high quality of the produced porcelain, Dresden decorative studios were eagerly buying porcelain H. Ohme and adorned her with magnificent floral bouquets. Manufactory also produced Meissen forms of very good porcelain quality, but also coffee and dinner services, openwork plates, vases, cups. More than half of the production was exported to the United States.
